Marking the 47th Foundation Day of the Bharatiya Janata Party, celebrations were held at the party headquarters in Itanagar, where leaders and party workers gathered to commemorate the journey of the organization and reaffirm their commitment to its core ideals.
Ojing Tasing, BJP leader from Arunachal Pradesh, took part in the celebrations alongside state party president Kaling Moyong. The event reflected a strong sense of unity and dedication among party members as they marked what was described as “47 glorious years of an extraordinary journey defined by Sewa aur Samarpan.”
In his remarks, Tasing highlighted the evolution of the party from its early struggles to its current position as a dominant political force. He described the BJP’s journey as one “from the soil of sacrifice to the summit of service,” emphasizing the role of conviction and commitment in shaping its path.
He also paid tribute to the foundational leadership of former Prime Ministers Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Lal Krishna Advani, crediting them with establishing a strong base rooted in principled politics, good governance, and national pride.
Looking at the present, Tasing pointed to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, under whom he said the party has transformed into a driving force of inclusive development, transparency, and decisive governance. He noted that this leadership has been instrumental in steering the country toward the vision of an Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
The leader also acknowledged the contribution of party workers at the grassroots level, stating that their dedication and service remain the backbone of the organization. He expressed appreciation for their tireless efforts and unwavering belief, which continue to strengthen the party across regions.
On the occasion, leaders and workers renewed their pledge to uphold the party’s ideals and work with greater determination toward building a stronger and developed India.
The celebration in Itanagar echoed the broader nationwide sentiment within the BJP, as leaders emphasized unity, service, and a continued commitment to the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ in the years ahead.
