ITANAGAR , INDIA — India observed the 135th birth anniversary of B R Ambedkar with nationwide tributes, commemorative events, and public participation, celebrating the enduring legacy of the principal architect of the Constitution and a champion of social justice.
President Droupadi Murmu paid floral homage at Lok Bhavan in Gandhinagar, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi remembered Ambedkar’s contributions as foundational to India’s democratic and social framework.
