Pema Khandu Highlights Importance of Bihar’s Development, Calls It Opportunity for Growth…

Date:

ITANAGAR, ARUNACHAL PRADESH — Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has emphasised the importance of development in Bihar, describing it as a significant opportunity with wide-ranging impact due to the state’s size and population.

Speaking in Itanagar, Khandu said that the current political situation presents a good opportunity for progress, noting that Bihar now has a Chief Minister from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), following a period when the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) was in power.

He highlighted that Bihar is one of the largest and most populous states in India, and any development initiatives undertaken there can have a substantial effect not only on the state itself but also on the country as a whole.

According to Khandu, large-scale development in Bihar can influence economic growth, infrastructure expansion, and governance models, given the state’s demographic and political significance. He suggested that positive changes in such a major state can contribute to broader national progress.

He also implied that political stability and alignment in governance can play a key role in accelerating development, particularly in states with complex socio-economic challenges.

Khandu’s remarks come in the context of ongoing political developments across various states, where leadership changes and alliances continue to shape governance priorities and development agendas.

Political observers note that Bihar’s size and population make it a critical state in India’s political and economic landscape, often influencing national trends in policy and governance.

Pema Khandu’s statement underscores the view that development in key states like Bihar holds the potential to drive wider national growth, making it an important focus for policymakers and political leaders.
